I am really starting to enjoy being a mom now. I admit that it is hard at times, but as each day goes by, I get more confident and I just love her more and more everyday. I can already tell that she is growing and learning. Even the little things she does I get so excited about, like when she finally started noticing those spinning animals above her head in the swing and couldn't stop staring at them for a half an hour.
I love now how much she likes bath time. I think it's cute.
love how she likes to just stare at my face for hours and hours. Even in the middle of the night when I'm so tired, it is hard for me to put her down when she looks at me like that.
And I love to watch her fall asleep. There's nothing cuter than watching a little baby fall asleep. Sometimes it takes hours, and sometimes it takes seconds. She'll be screaming one second and then I turn around and she's sleeping. I don't know how it happens because I always miss that moment.
And I think it is so cute when she is just waking up and scrunches up her face and puckers her lips and stretches out her arms for a good stretch.
There are some tough moments sometimes. Like feeding her round the clock is very draining. And when I want to go out somewhere, I have to make sure that she has some milk pumped so that she can have a bottle. And it is really frustrating when you leave to go out by yourself with out the baby and leave her with your husband and he calls during the middle of the Relief Society party to say that when he was getting the bottle ready for her, he forgot to put the bottom of the bottle on before he dumped the milk in it so it spilled all over the counter and that I have to come home and feed her. Ya that was not funny, and anyone who has ever breastfed and pumped milk knows that stuff is like liquid gold and isn't easy to come by, so when you dump it on the counter it was a waste of a half an hour of pumping for me, and the pain of having to do it for NOTHING. I wasn't to happy about it, but I made sure that everyone at the party knew why I was going home, so that next time they see Nathan, he'll never hear the end of it. He he he.

DEEP IN THOUGHT
What could this little baby be thinking about. Probably how cute she is. Or how that big bow on her head is bothering her. But if she knows better, she is thinking about how cute she is WITH the big bow on her head.
JACK AND BRYSTAL
Andy Hyldahl came to visit me this week with her 2 month old baby Jack. Jack and Brystal are exactly 1 month apart. We've already decided that they will get married someday, so we got some cute pictures of them together for the future. Jack weighs almost twice as much as Brystal does. She is very small for her age, and Jack is a little chubby for his. So they looked so cute next to each other. We had such a fun few days together, it was nice to get with Andi and share baby moments together, good ones and bad ones. For the most part, they were very good this week. I hope that Andi comes again to visit. We had so much fun. Thanks Andi!
OH CHRISTMAS TREE OH CHRISTMAS TREE
LUNCH TIME
Just finished lunch.
Getting burped. Looks like it was a good one.
We had so much fun eating out together. What a perfect day.
TRIP TO GALVESTON
Andi, me, Brystal, and Jack hopped in the car and went to Galveston to see the beach. It was a very nice day and the babies were very good. It was a beautiful day
FIRST BATH!
Brystal's belly button finally came off, so I was so excited to finally give her a real bath. Here she is experiencing the water for the first time. She really liked it alot. She just sat in the tub and relaxed. If she is anything like her mom, she'll love tub baths all the time!
We put Jack in the tub with her. It was a tight squeeze but they fit in together. Brystal didn't seem to mind. I think Jack did though.

FIRST DAY BACK AT CHURCH
Today we took Brystal to church for the first time. I was so nervous since she had been so cranky all day long with gas. And so I got her all dressed up and she ended up sleeping through the whole thing. So no one got to see how cute she really looked in her dress. But everyone still thought she was cute. Of course she is, why wouldn't she be.

SOPHIE THE TROUBLE MAKER
Sophie has been getting into extra trouble these days. She is doing pretty good with Brystal, but has found other ways than her usual ways to get into trouble and annoy me. The first day we brought Brystal home, I found her in the crib. I don't know how she got in or why she suddenly decided to get in, but there she was. She has tried to jump over to the bassinet a couple times but missed. And here is where I have found her a few times when she is no where to be found. I walk in here, and she is just sitting up here at the computer. I don't get it. All these things she has never done before, and suddenly, she comes up with these crazy ideas. I think she feels a little left out and is just wanting some attention. I have to keep a close eye on her at all times. Especially after the incident of when I was emptying out the diaper genie bag, but didn't have time to actually take the bag out to the trash, so of course a garbage bag full of dirty diapers is a gold mine for Sophie. Ya that wasn't a fun one to clean up. I made Nate do it.

MORE CUTENESS

AND THE CUTENESS CONTINUES
We have had Brystal for one week now. It is hard to believe that a little more than a week ago, this little angel was inside of me and I was complaining about being pregnant. I feel bad about that, but I'm so glad that she finally came because who wouldn't want to look at this cute little face everyday? She has been such a good baby so far, and I'm praying that she'll be good forever. Ha ha, I'm sure that won't happen, but I am just soaking it all up for now.
DADDY DOES MY HAIR
I love this little onsie she has, especially since she really has alot of hair. Nathan has been such a good daddy to Brystal, He loves to hold her, and talk to her and tell her how pretty she is. And sometimes I even hear him singing little primary songs to her. I know she likes it because she is always so good when he is holding her. I'm so glad that I have him to help me, and even more glad that he loves being a dad.
BRYSTAL'S FIRST WALK
I was SO excited to take her for a walk today. I have been cooped up inside for a week, and plus I've been dying to use my new stroller since the day I bought it. We didn't take a long walk but it was nice to get out. The whole time we were so worried that the sun was in her eyes or if she was cold, but it really was quite warm outside so I don't know why we were freaking out, maybe because we are new at this.
She is so precious.
HAPPY HALLOWEEN!
So we couldn't do too much with Brystal this Halloween since she was only 4 days old, so I found this little witch beanie for a buck at Target. And Sophie was a spider. She really hates her costume, she just sits like a statue when she has it on because she doesn't know what to do with herself. But all the trick or treaters thought she was real cute. Next year we will be able to dress Brystal up a little more.
