Our first hurricane in Houston, it was a doozy too. Here is the waves crashing againsted the sea wall at Galveston. This was 7 or 8 hours before the storm even hit. Amazing. Here is our hurricane adventure.

Yeah, good to know that you guys are ok and that you didn't have too much damage to worry about either. That tree through the house picture is crazy!
I hope that picture of galveston isn't at Mymy and Andrea's place.
Oh my gosh Kacie, I am freaking out...are you guys ok? I bet it was a very scary feeling to know that you had to brace yourself for the worst. I can't believe some of the damage done to those houses! I hope you guys have seen the worst of it all and you are doing alright. Brystal is a doll as usual. I can't believe she is almost 11 months old already! Those waves are crazy!

Talk about an adventure. We don't have TV to watch the storm so I appreciate the pictures. I'm glad you and your home are safe. That picture of the beautiful brick home with the tree in is makes me want to cry.
Geez Kacie, I'm glad you're Ok! That looks like it was pretty crazy. Storms scare the heck out of me, I would have been freaking out. Brystal is so, so darling.

Glad to hear you are doing well. Monica and I kept you in our prayers all weekend. We can't image what it would be like to go thorugh a storm like that.
Kacie, glad your family is safe. You were in my prayers just as soon as they said Ike would hit Houston. I hope the Black's are okay too? You guys are in our prayers through the recovery process, too.
