Don't put all your plastic lids in the drawer underneath the oven and then cook a pizza. You will be left with a puddle of plastic lids. Nice move new home owners.

IT'S BEEN A LONG TIME
Well we would like to apologize for not blogging in awhile. It has been a really busy month for us with the move. I didn't have internet for at least 2 weeks and with all the unpacking I just haven't gotten around to pictures and blogging. But we are just unloading the last of it, and I know you all want to see pictures of the house, but I want to just finish putting it all away before I post pictures. It will be soon though, very soon.
But Brystal is just as cute as ever of course. She is now 7 and a half months old now. She finally just broke 2 teeth at the same time! I was wondering why she was being such a grouch for the last 2 weeks. I couldn't get ANYTHING done without holding her. Poor baby, she had 2 coming in instead of just 1. She is getting herself around the house just fine without crawling yet, she rolls, and scoots, and I really don't know how she gets in some of the jams she gets into, but she manages to get around. She is playing and just loving life right now. She can now clap her hands which she just learned today for the first time. Boy is she cute. And of course she loves to sing. After naps or before I get her in the mornings, I love to just sit and listen to her sing and play for about a half an hour or so before I get her up. Also she has a set of lungs on her as she screams with delight (or frustration).
Anyways, sorry it has been awhile, we have alot coming up in the next weeks. I am going to girls camp this week with the Young Women, and my mom and Kristie are coming down to watch Brystal while I go, then I'll get to spend a few days with them. As soon as they leave, we head right back up behind them to Utah for our vacation where we will spend the 4th of July up there with Family and Friends. So prepare yourself for more blogging here to come. And I will get some pictures of the house up by this weekend I promise, so stop asking me about them.
Here are a few adorable videos of Brystal that I took this week. there were so many of them, I couldn't decide which ones to post.

POOL FUN
We have been able to take Brystal to the pool finally, she LOVES it. She just splashes and plays and has such a great time.
Splashing away!
Brystal got to come to our Young Women's swim party for a little bit. She loved being in the pool and loves the attention she gets from all the girls.
Of course, she has to get a taste of her salty pool thumb. She looks more and more like her Dad the older she gets.
DANCING QUEEN
This video really isn't a good one of Brystal's moves, but it was the best I could get on tape. Whenever she hears music come on, she starts to sway back and forth to the beat. Here we are watching Sesame Street and she did this to almost every little song that came on. Of course she caught me in the act of filming her and stopped what she was doing. I have a feeling that we have a little Dancing Queen on our hands. I just love watching her dance.
BRYSTAL AND SOPHIE
Brystal has been learning the meaning of no when it comes to eating Sophie's collar. She tries to grab it and eat it and is usually successful, in this video, she knows exactly what she is doing and that she isn't supposed to be doing it. What a sneaky little baby. And Sophie just sits there and takes it. And she makes one really funny face in the middle of the video, see if you can catch it.
THE BEST FOR LAST
I saved this video for last because it is my favorite. Brystal was having a rough moment as you can tell by the tear stained cheeks, but I managed to get a good laugh out of her. Sometimes I am surprised that Brystal hasn't been killed by me squeezing her to death. I just love this little girl.

WELCOME HOME!
In case some of you were wondering what I've been up to lately, there is an explanation for why I haven't been blogging lately. First of all, my camera battery has been dead, and I haven't gotten around to recharging it. Second, we just bought our first house! Yeah!! It is a brand new home just a couple of blocks from the elementary school here, and it's a two story 4 bedroom house. We are soooo excited! We love it. We have spent the last week closing on it, and packing and painting and just being exhausted, and we are barely half way done. Phewf! We were so excited about this house because we really tried very hard to buy a house that was still in our same ward, and guess what? The day after we bought it, they SPLIT our ward! What the? So now we are in a new ward! It is sad leave some of our friends, but a good chunk of us are going to the new ward, so we will definitely have some friends there. And they have already made me the Mia Maid advisor in the new ward and I haven't even met any of them yet. But I'm excited, apparently, the new ward needed some good strong members, and since our ward was "too strong" if you will, they took some of us to help out both of the wards be able to grow and develop stronger. So, it will be a new adventure once again to get used to a new ward in our new house. But that is what life is all about, new adventures! I will show more pictures of the house once we get settled, and of course more pictures of Brystal, I know you all are missing her.
