Ya my birthday was a couple months ago but it happened so I'm still gonna talk about it. I won't lie, it wasn't a birthday really worth remembering. I felt a little sick all day long and it was on a sunday. Nobody likes sunday birthdays. BORING! I had once told Brystal I liked mermaids in casual converstion so when my birthday rolled around, she assumed that I really wanted a mermaid party so this is what Brystal and Nate came up with for my birthday cake.
The kids were pretty excited about the cake and the candles.
Oh and did I mention Nate used to tie balloons for a living? Well he dusted off his old balloon pump and got to work for the birthday party and made me a balloon hat. What a great skill to have in your family around birthdays.
I turned 27 this year, and yes Nate put on 27 candles on the cake. The kids liked this part.
