USE YOUR HEAD

Brystal has found a new way to get around and use her head at the same time. Sometimes I wonder where this child gets her ideas.

LAZY SUNDAY MORNING

What can we see Brystal doing on a Sunday morning before church? Here she sits on the back porch and enjoys her new bubble blower, which I like more than she does cause I don't have to sit out there and blow bubbles for an hour.

This is Brystal's new favorite game that she has been doing every morning the last week. She gets out all of my shoes and puts one on and walks around the house in them. There is at least one of every pair of my shoes scattered in every room in the house.

Please excuse her scraggliness, like I said, it was before we were ready for church on Sunday.

CABELLA'S

We went to Austin a couple weekends ago to visit Nate's sister Karen and their family and we made a trip to Cabella's while we were there. Here is just a few pictures of our trip. Here is Brystal enjoying the massive fish tank, she loves fishies. As you can see she is also eating gold"fishies" which are in her mouth.

Apparently she doesn't like stuffed fishies.

But she does like a rocking moose.

Not too fond of the bear because it doesn't rock. Oh well we had fun anyways.

SOPHIE'S, ER, I MEAN BRYSTAL'S EASTER EGG HUNT

Well, here is our attempt to doing an Easter egg hunt for Brystal. I imagined she would think it was loads of fun to run around the yard and pick up all the colorful eggs laying in the grass and putting them in her basket. Instead, she wandered around the yard barely even noticing the eggs while Sophie had the time of her life with the egg hunt. Better luck next year right?

HOPPY EASTER!

This year was a practice year we were able to do something a little more fun for Easter with Brystal. Here is her basket with a new toy and a kite that didn't fit in the basket, and her new table and chairs from Ikea.

She loves this little table and the chairs that are just her size. Now she has a place to color!

And the easter egg hunt. Well it didn't go as we had hoped as you can see by the video clip above, but once she figured out there were jelly beans in the eggs she was a little more interested.

But what she really wanted to do was play with the bubbles she found in her basket, which once again Sophie had just as much fun with as she did.

Mmmmm. Peeps.

GWAMMA CAME TO VISIT

We have had a busy week. My mom came out to see us last week and we put her to work. She helped us get Brystal's room painted, (which by the way is really cute, but I will put up pictures when it is all complete.) and we spent most of the time sewing the baby bedding which would have taken me 5 years to do all by myself. It was fun to have her here for conference weekend since I usually spend girls night out alone. We went out to our Deseret Book store here cause they have a big party there with give aways and big sales during the priesthood session. I bought myself a wheat grinder for a pretty good price, so my mom of course taught me how to use it and I made some yummy rolls for dinner, and some of my homemade pizza crust with it as well. I have been so domestic this week, I don't know how I'll ever keep up with myself now that she is gone.

We took her to see the water wall downtown which is pretty amazing but our pictures turned out real bad so here is the best one.

We went out to eat alot and we took Brystal to play at the mall play area one night after dinner, which she insisted on saying hi to all the people that walked by her. She loves this place.

Crawling through tunnels

It is so much more fun now that she is bigger and doesn't get plowed over by the big kids.

Here is her adorable little China outfit that my Dad got for her from China before she was born. It is still a little big, but we wanted to show Grandma how it looked before she went home.

Brystal loved her Grandma coming to visit and she cried when Grandma got out of the car at the airport. Please come visit me again Mom.
